Yank and Limey Takes Up Residence with New Studio in the Heart of Soulard
Marketing strategy, branding, and design firm moves operations to Soulard Preservation Hall
St. Louis, MO – June 8, 2010 – Yank and Limey, a strategic marketing, branding, and design firm recently opened a new office in the historic Soulard area in the city of St. Louis. Having just celebrated its first year anniversary in March, Yank and Limey is serving its ever-growing list of clients from the renovated Soulard Preservation Hall located at 1921 South Ninth Street. The new office space includes a creative suite on the third floor of the Hall as well as two state-of-the-art conference rooms below.
“The new studio space allows us to not only meet with clients in a comfortable and relaxing environment, but offers the amenities of a private bar where I’m sure most clients would prefer to meet,” joked Benjamin Franklin, president and creative director of Yank and Limey. “Seriously, the atmosphere and architectural character of Soulard fits our need to entertain clients and conduct our business in a warm, welcoming part of town that everyone enjoys visiting,” he added.
Yank and Limey was founded by two highly-experienced marketing and branding experts who offer “big agency expertise at independent rates.” With experience in agencies from London to Boston to St. Louis, the firm’s principals also offer the unique perspective of the client side of the desk, which helps keep them anchored and focused on what really counts, the client’s bottom line.
Over the past year, Yank and Limey worked for clients in industries ranging from architectural design to power plant maintenance to wireless security to a retail paper store. Projects have included a wide range of work such as marketing strategy and positioning, brand and logo development, interior design, signage, public relations, web site design and development, copywriting, and sales collateral.
Some of Yank and Limey’s clients include Shaughnessy Paper & More, Gray Design Group, COCA, Power Maintenance & Constructors, Dotworkz Systems, and Sentrus Security. Paul Gassett, a native of St. Louis and vice president of strategic marketing for Yank and Limey, provides experience in large agencies as well as 12 years on the client side in marketing and communications roles. “I have an understanding of what clients go through day in and day out from budget challenges to upward management to the need to hit revenue goals,” Gassett reported. “Our focus on meeting a client’s need for high quality work, the type they expect from a large traditional agency, is enhanced by our new office and studio space. We can invite them to stop in and fully experience how Yank and Limey is making a visible and profound impact toward the success of their business,” he added.
