Yank and Limey speaks the same language as our clients, translating our unique international experience into solutions that excel your business in the local, regional, or global arena.
He has over 16 years of experience producing award winning work that include AIGA and ADDY awards and numerous publication entries. A native of Nottinghamshire, England, he studied in the UK and began his career with one of London’s leading corporate design studios. His career has since been divided between London and St. Louis.
Ben conceived Yank and Limey in the early 2000′s and let the concept percolate for many years whilst building a comprehensive business plan that outlined every facet of the company. In march 2009 Yank and Limey was incorporated and soon after Ben began working with Paul Gassett, a life science client from the 1990′s. Together they had produced marketing materials, annual reports and software branding for a St. Louis based scientific solutions provider. A decade later they partnered to enhance the offerings of Yank and Limey to better serve their clients.
He brings to clients a high level of controlled passion, attention to detail and strategy that is fueled by the desire to create high level strategic design. His time in London and traveling Europe has been a major influence for how he approaches design, often using a modern sensibility that combines contemporary typography and bold imagery that appeals to clients from coast to coast.
Ben also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Washington University St. Louis teaching typography at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.
Ben has produced work for companies such as Gray Design Group, Shaughnessy, Monsanto, McCarthy Construction, Agilent Technologies, S.M. Wilson, COCA, Mackey Mitchell Architects, Zimmer Holdings, Job Centre Plus, London Pensions Fund, Tripos, Pricewaterhousecoopers, Huntco Steel, the United Way and many more.
In this evolving technological world Ben enjoys nothing more than sitting face to face with a client and generating business in a traditional way. He welcomes the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your project needs.
