Type Teaching

One of the pleasures teaching Typography at Washington University St. Louis is being able to take the time to appreciate the craft of graphic design and the tools in which we use. Here the junior Type class ‘hand draw’ a given letter without the use of rulers and french curves and painstakingly craft this huge letter to near perfection. Typography can be art.
